What You'll Find Here:

Of course there will be pictures & videos of my beautiful boys, but I am also going to post information that I find helpful to share with my fellow mommies out there, either SAHM or working! I consider running the household my job, not just raising children, so it is my responsibility to save money wherever I can! One way I do that is with couponing. On average, I spend less than $80 per week on all our household needs. No, not just food. This is toiletries, paper goods, cleaning supplies, diapers, & anything else you can think of! And we don't do without around here! Most all of what I buy is name brand & very little is off-brand. There is nothing wrong with off-brand, but manufacturers put out tons of coupons to get you to buy their products.

Oh so Sick!

The morning sickness is in full swing now. I was feeling pretty good until about a week ago. I thought that maybe since I had my gallbladder removed, that this pregnancy would be much easier & that was the reason I was feeling so great. Well, I spoke too soon. I have never been this sick. I am ALWAYS sick! Today I have laid on the couch almost all day & every time I get up, I get dizzy & light-headed. Everything makes me nauseous. My doctor says that the sicker you are, the healthier the pregnancy, so there is a positive to it all. It is beginning to interfere with everyday life. Luckily I am going to the doctor on Tuesday, so we can see what's going on. Our 1st ultrasound is also Tuesday, so I am excited about that! I have lost a few pounds, but my belly is pudging out. Looks like I will be spending Mother's Day sick & on the couch.

Our Growing Family

So here is my first offical blogger post. I absolutely LOVE to blog but I never get the time to do it anymore. I hope to be able to keep it up throughout my pregnancy because it is a great record of what is happening & also a great way to share everything with everyone. I plan on adding lots of pictures, so I will also try to remember that other people (besides people I know) are going to be reading this, so if it seems like I am stating the obvious, I am.

Here is our story. Frankie & I got married Sept 14, 2002. Our 1st son, Nathan, was born March 9, 2004 at a whopping 8lbs 7oz. Our 2nd son, Ryan was born May 2, 2006 & at 2 weeks early was 8lbs 2oz. Baby #3 will probably be a big one too. Everyone asks us if we are hoping for a girl, or say they hope we get a girl. I would love to have a little girl, but I would be just as happy with another boy. Yes, this is our last child.

Today I am 6 weeks pregnant & morning sickness is in high gear. Luckily I can still eat, but not much. The smell of a roast the other day made me SO SICK! I couldn't eat it. My 1st aversion! The boys keep me busy, so I don't have a chance to rest, which is making it much worse. I am also still breastfeeding Ryan, so I am drained. I am hoping that as my milk supply drops & turns to colostrum, he will wean himself so it won't be so traumatic to him. He is such a mama's baby.

I am going to try to remember to add pictures tomorrow. Even though I am only 6 weeks, I already have a pudge. I have to keep telling myself that this is my 3rd, so I am going to show sooner. I just feel fat, but I haven't gained weight, so I may just start wearing tighter shirts & showing it off. I know I am pregnant, so I don't care if other people think I am just fat.
